Who should complete 2012 - 2019 Wisconsin Dmv Mv3001?
Our best-selling course continues to prove its worth every year, so it's no wonder that many have been repeating the Mv3001 course multiple times for years. However, as mentioned above, you'll find that in most cases the Mv3003 course is going to be the better option for drivers with even mild driver's license (LDL) holders. With such a few LDL holders and many who have moderate-to-severe drivers licenses, Mv3003 has proven to be the most effective course.
The other big question is who should do the Mv3002 course first? You might be surprised to learn that there are often only a few LDL holders and moderate drivers who fail to pass at Wisconsin DMV even though they may be ready.
Mv3005: A Road Test and Driver Training Course
If you've completed Mv3001 (or Mv3012) you'll probably want to take the Mv3015 course with a few additional steps to help finish up in less time. The Mv3015 course is designed specifically for those who failed to pass the DMV road test in either of the two required courses and are looking to learn how to pass the road test at Wisconsin DOT's MPR test center.
Many drivers who have already completed the Mv3001 and Mv3012 courses choose to take the Mv3005 course first, figuring that they'll pick up on any lessons or tips that may help them pass the test, since they weren't able to follow them in those prerequisites. However, this course was designed specifically for those who have already passed the road test.
Mv3002 — MPR
It should be no surprise that after driving for eight weeks, this is the first course you need to do. But how fast can you learn how to read a traffic sign?
Course Description
Once you've obtained your Wisconsin driver's license, the next step is to obtain an MPR test fee voucher to complete your driver's training course. But when you complete your test at the MPR test center you'll notice that a large majority of your test-takers are actually novice drivers.
For this reason we've developed the MPR course to help you master the skills needed to pass this driver's license exam without needing an additional practice course.

Mv3001a carries a one-year validity, whereas Mv3001b has a one-year expiration.
If you want to transfer ownership of a Mv3001 to a minor, you will need to register the vehicle with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (DOT) as usual, but you can do this at the DMV. The registration documents for a Mv3001 are not available to the public, so you will need to contact DOT for instructions. How can I buy an old Mv3001? Your best bet is to contact a friend who does not want to be identified. If you're unable to get hold of them, you can create an account on our website and see if someone has one for sale. How many people fill out 2012 - 2019 Wisconsin Dmv Mv3001 each year?
About 10.0 million in 2012, 12.8 million in 2013, 13.8 million in 2014, 14.9 million in 2015, 16.3 million in 2016, 17.3 million in 2017, 16.7 million in 2018, 18.0 million in 2019, and 13.0 million in 2020. If we multiply that by four, we get 16.6 million filled out in each of the four intervening years. In any case, the actual number of people filling out Mv3001 in each year would have only a very slight influence on the likelihood of a person being flagged for a minor traffic infraction for a decade. More than a third of all traffic tickets are for speeding, a minor infraction if it results in an accident or if a person is going more than 10 mph over the speed limit!
Can someone be sent to jail simply for applying for a vanity license plate?
No. For a person to be sent to jail or to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or Wisconsin Department of Transportation's (Wisdom) “Administrative Hearings Division” for vanity plate applications, an officer conducting a traffic stop would have to have smelled the odor of an illegal substance on the license plate or person was arrested for DUI or other alcohol-related offenses. The odor must be found at the time of the stop. The odor can also arise from the time of application.
To make a decision on whether to issue a vanity plate, Wisdom considers a wide variety of factors including the applicant's ability to afford to pay, the applicant's history of delinquent payments and criminal history, the applicant's ability to pay the cost of the plate, the applicant's reliability and the applicant's reputation.
What if I had a vanity plate from the 1960s instead of the present year?
People who had a vanity plate from the 1960s could receive an “interpolated” license plate. Interpolation is an error correction process that the DMV does when there is an error in the registration record. In most cases, the DMV will correct this error by adding the correct “interpolated” letter to the end of the license plate. In some cases, if it was an original plate that had the incorrect “interpolated” letter, then the DMV will send you an additional letter, which is similar to the “correct” “interpolated” letter.
Is there a due date for 2012 - 2019 Wisconsin Dmv Mv3001?
According to Wisconsin DOT, the Mv3001 will operate until December 31st, 2013. The reason for this date may be so that they can add new license plate stickers to existing vehicles before the program officially begins.
Can I apply for the program in December 2016?
Not at this time in Wisconsin. The Mv3001 may now be available for a limited time through December 31st, 2013 to get the stickers as part of this program. You can still apply for the program after that, however, it might run out of stickers as time goes on. For more information about the 2012 – 2019 Mv3001 license plates program, please see the Wisconsin DOT's website.
So will my vehicle be eligible?
The program is for 2012 – 2019 vintage vehicles (see above). You'll find out in December if you meet the eligibility requirements.
What happens if I'm eligible and don't have a vehicle?
If you're a Wisconsin resident, you can drive your vehicle to any designated Department of Transportation facility in the state. The department doesn't charge for a replacement sticker, so keep in mind that you'll have to pay the usual replacement sticker fee (3.00). You won't be able to drive or park the vehicle at a highway rest stop, and you can't take it with you to a dealer or auto repair shop (the original sticker comes with each replacement sticker).
If your vehicle is registered outside the state, the replacement tags will be mailed, and you'll pay the original sticker fee once you get home. A replacement sticker will also be mailed to the mailing address listed on your license plate.
What if my vehicle isn't vintage?
If your vehicle isn't vintage, you'll have to apply for a sticker of some kind via Wisconsin DOT. You may need to take a special test, or even apply at the address on the sticker. Wisconsin DOT does offer a temporary replacement for old vehicles without a vintage sticker. The temporary sticker is available at 1.
